Biography - Shauna O'Donnell
BIOGRAPHY

Shauna O’Donnell began her journey in music and entertainment in her teens playing drums and joining other students in an all girl band called Beau Monde. The band broke up not too long after conception due to conflicting schedules and school, but Shauna knew one day she would have her place in the music industry. She started modeling while finishing high s

chool and upon graduation decided to fulfill her wish to be able to help people so she embarked on a career in the medical field which lasted for quite a number of years. After the video she signed up for Papa Roach’s street team and joined several others including becoming an MTV2 Scout in hopes of being able to make a difference in the industry in a different manner. During this time she was also a proud member of the Roadrunner Records Road Crew. With so many professional connections and friends it was a natural progression to own a Magazine (MUEN Magazine) and write and has do interviews for MUEN as well as many other sites and magazines. MUEN Magazine covers signed and unsigned bands, which gave her the opportunity to work with independent and major labels, and bands from all over the world. MUEN covers only the very best talent no matter the genre. She attends many shows in the Los Angeles area supporting the bands she believes in. That support and dedication led to having two radio shows. She received an email from Sonja at 525Powertracks.com asking if she would like to do a show on their station. Without hesitation the answer was yes! MUEN Talk on 525 Power Tracks was born and has brought the industry’s most exceptional bands to the show. She has been able to introduce new bands to the station and many have been added to the playlist. The show aired every Friday at Noon PST/ 3:00 EST. After that she was requested to be on Coyote 107.1’s Metal Shop Show. This terrestrial radio station can be heard in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas. She interviewed bands as well as co-hosted on the show. She believes that internet radio as well as internet based magazines are two very important tools in the promotion of music

Shauna wanted to professionally advance more so she took on publicity in an official capacity instead of just through writing and radio. She took on the task of helping The Sammus Theory reach their dreams and goals. It paid off and in March of 2011 she was asked to become a part of the publicity team at New Ocean Media and in August of 2013 she became the in house publicist at Pavement Entertainment. The obvious next step was to start managing bands. In January of 2016 she decided it was the right time to start her own venture and O’Donnell Media Group was created to encompass all of her talents to best help bands achieve their goals. Shauna continues to grow in and with the industry as it changes at the speed of light. Stay tuned as she always has something clever on the horizon.

Maryland Metalcore Outfit Delivers a Powerful Anthem About Addiction, Depression, and Choosing to Fight Back

Maryland-based metalcore band Omen//Skye have released their new single and lyric video, “Vanquish,” available via Arson Theory. The track is the latest single from the band’s most recent EP, The Thoughts That Haunt Us, and is available on all major streaming platforms.

Produced by Drew Licurgo and Six:Eight Audio, “Vanquish” is an emotionally charged track centered on one of life’s darkest battles: finding the strength to keep going when everything feels lost.
The composition for “Vanquish” was largely written by former guitarist Brian Baugus, with chorus lyrics composed by Josh Grzywacz. Vocalist Nick Troisi developed the verse lyrics and overall concept, drawing directly from his own battle with addiction.
At its core, “Vanquish” is about reaching the lowest point imaginable and making the conscious decision to persevere. The song explores the struggle against addiction, depression, and suicidal thoughts while ultimately delivering a message of resilience and choosing life.

Troisi shares, “I was down and out, I thought that this was the end. But I picked myself up and started fighting again. It's a conscious choice between life and death, and when it comes for you... DON'T. GIVE. IN.”

Blending cinematic atmosphere, crushing riffs, and emotionally charged melodic hooks, Omen//Skye continue to establish themselves as one of the Mid-Atlantic's most promising heavy acts. Built on the foundation of explosive live performances, the band seamlessly merges the intensity of classic metalcore with the innovation of the genre's modern wave, forging a sound that is both familiar and unmistakably their own.

With its crushing instrumentation and deeply personal message, “Vanquish” captures the moment when surrender and survival stand on opposite sides of a decision. Rather than romanticizing the darkness, Omen//Skye confront it head-on, transforming personal struggle into an anthem for anyone fighting to find their way back.

“Vanquish” is available now on all major streaming platforms via Arson Theory.

Patient Sixty-Seven Sign to SBG Records, New Single "A Stitch In Time Saves None" (feat. Telle Smith of The Word Alive)

Australian Metalcore Standouts Patient Sixty-Seven Enter a New Chapter with SBG Records and Enlist The Word Alive’s Telle Smith for Powerful New Single

Australian-based metalcore outfit Patient Sixty-Seven have signed with SBG Records, marking a major new chapter for one of the scene’s most compelling and community-driven bands. To celebrate the signing, the Perth, Australia natives have released their new single “A Stitch In Time Saves None,” featuring Telle Smith of The Word Alive.

Built on emotional honesty, resilience, and a deep connection with their audience, Patient Sixty-Seven have spent the past decade transforming personal struggle into music that resonates with fans around the world. Their latest release continues that mission, pairing the band’s emotionally charged metalcore with the unmistakable presence of Telle Smith, creating a powerful collaboration that underscores the band’s evolution.

Patient Sixty-Seven has become a band built not on hype or industry shortcuts, but on heart, perseverance, and the belief that heavy music can be a lifeline. Emerging from the isolated but fiercely creative city of Perth, the band has steadily grown from a local act into a globally recognized name within the modern metalcore community.

From their earliest releases, Patient Sixty-Seven have distinguished themselves through their willingness to confront difficult emotions head-on. Their music explores fear, grief, self-doubt, isolation, and the struggles that come with simply being human, turning those experiences into songs that offer listeners a sense of connection and understanding.

That vulnerability has helped the band cultivate a fiercely loyal and engaged fanbase. Patient Sixty-Seven’s audience has never simply been about numbers; fans have shared their own stories, found comfort in the band's lyrics, and formed genuine connections with one another through the music. Over the years, that community has become an integral part of the Patient Sixty-Seven identity.
Now, with their signing to SBG Records, the band is taking that community and their music into a new era.

“A Stitch In Time Saves None” showcases the band continuing to push their sound forward while maintaining the emotional intensity that has defined their work. Featuring Telle Smith, the track adds another dimension to Patient Sixty-Seven’s already dynamic approach to modern metalcore and represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the band.

With a decade of perseverance behind them and a global community standing beside them, Patient Sixty-Seven are proving that authenticity has no borders—and that sometimes the heaviest music can be the music that reminds you that you're not alone.

EARSHOT RELEASES NEW SINGLE + OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO “LOVE LEFT”
Frontman Wil Martin Opens Up About The Fear That Followed Chris Cornell’s Death - And The Question That Became The Heart Of The Song: “Tell Me, Is There Love Left?”

Alternative rock band Earshot has released its new single “Love Left,” out now on Judge & Jury / SV Records, along with the song’s official music video. Pairing the band’s heavy, atmospheric sound with one of frontman Wil Martin’s most personal lyrical themes, “Love Left” asks a deceptively simple question: when everything feels dark, is there still love left?

For Martin, the question grew out of a period of intense fear and anxiety following the death of Chris Cornell, an artist he revered.
“Chris Cornell’s death shook me to my absolute core,” says Martin. “It wasn’t just the loss of an artist I revered; it was the terrifying realization that someone who, from the outside, seemed to have so much - talent, family, success, freedom - could still somehow be completely overwhelmed by internal pain and hopelessness. I was riddled with anxiety for weeks.”

What stayed with Martin was an unsettling question that became increasingly personal.

“I would often think to myself: if someone who has every reason to live can still be consumed by darkness, where does that leave people like me? Could any of us suddenly self-destruct without seeing it coming?”

That question ultimately found its way into “Love Left” and its central refrain: “Tell me is there love left? Any hope of us left? Before we throw it all away? Tell me is there love left?”

“I don’t pretend to have all or even any of the answers,” Martin says. “But what I came to believe for myself is that as long as I can find even just a spark of love within me, there’s something there to hold onto. That realization became the soul of this song.”
“Love Left” also reflects Martin’s frustration with a culture he believes places too much pressure on people to appear happy and okay, even when they aren’t.

“I think we’re suffocating under a culture that demands constant happiness and perfection,” he says. “I want to shatter that lie. It’s okay to have bad days, bad months or even bad years. Pain is real. Grief is real, but so is growth. Feeling down, lost or exhausted doesn’t mean you’re broken - it means you’re human. For me, ‘Love Left’ is about finding that small glimmer of love inside yourself and not throwing it away.”

The official music video gives that idea a stark visual language. Set against a dark, crumbling backdrop, a single glowing light bulb represents the fragile inner spark someone is fighting to protect as everything around them appears to fall apart. The destructive, industrial imagery mirrors the internal struggle at the center of the song.

EASTBLOOD (feat. members of JASTA, Dee Snider, Generation Kill & more) Release New Album Burn What's Left

Featuring Members of JASTA, Dee Snider, Generation Kill & More, the New Metal Powerhouse Delivers a Blistering First Statement
EASTBLOOD has officially arrived with the release of their debut album, Burn What's Left, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Featuring members of JASTA, Dee Snider, Generation Kill, and more, Eastblood is a four-piece metal force built on speed, volume, and zero compromise. Fusing the ferocity of thrash metal with the raw aggression of punk and hardcore, the band delivers ripping riffs, brutal breakdowns, punishing drums, and nonstop shredding across Burn What's Left.

“'Burn What's Left' is a record about anger, exhaustion, betrayal, and the emotional wreckage left behind by narcissism, manipulation, internet culture, and manufactured victimhood,” says Eastblood. “Beneath the aggression is something deeply human: self-doubt, grief, isolation, and the realization that sometimes the only way to move forward is to stop carrying what other people have done to you. We used that message with lyrics and the fastest, grittiest music we could—and this is just the beginning.”

Rather than simply channeling aggression for aggression's sake, Burn What's Left turns frustration, resentment, and emotional fallout into a full-force sonic attack. The album confronts the darker side of modern culture while exploring the personal damage left in its wake and the catharsis that comes from finally letting it go.
Recorded with a relentless intensity from start to finish, Burn What's Left was mixed and mastered by Nick Bellmore, whose production expertise helps give the album its crushing weight and uncompromising edge.

"Eastblood is pure alchemy — speed and intensity colliding with melody and catharsis, without a single compromise. We can’t wait to unleash what we’ve built on the world," says Charlie Bellmore.
No gimmicks. No polish. No compromise. Just pure sonic violence.
Burn What's Left is out now on all major streaming platforms.

Bastion Rose Takes Aim at Extremism with Dark, Progressive Rock Anthem "Holy Wars"

As they continue their aggressive 2026 release cycle, cinematic hard rock outfit Bastion Rose is preparing to drop their darkest and most politically charged single to date. "Holy Wars," is a heavy, relentless progressive rock anthem that confronts the rising tide of extremism and blind hatred head-on.

Serving as a visceral centerpiece to the band's rapidly unfolding Blue Rising era, "Holy Wars" fuses the colossal, cinematic riffing the band is known for with an urgent, unapologetic message. The track takes direct aim at those who use ideology and dogma to justify destruction, warning that "Holy wars won't make you whole / Holy wars won't save your soul."

For frontman Austin Frink, the song is a necessary reaction to a world increasingly fractured by fanaticism.

"We see extremism repeatedly as a political failing; but it is a spiritual sickness," says Frink. "'Holy Wars' is about the people who are willing to burn the world down and call it salvation. It's about confronting the monsters who use their faith or their faction to justify atrocities. You cannot heal your own brokenness by destroying everything around you."

Musically, "Holy Wars" is a towering achievement of modern heavy rock architecture. It channels the aggressive, wide-dynamic-range progressive that is signature to the band. Building heavily on the world-class sonic foundation established with three-time Grammy-winning producer David Bottrill (Tool, Godsmack, Mastodon, Muse, Rush) on their previous records, the band’s self-produced new material finds them operating at the absolute peak of their technical and dynamic prowess.

Backed by recent acclaim from Classic Rock Magazine, Metal Hammer, and SPIN, Bastion Rose is translating immense digital leverage into a formidable global footprint ahead of an anticipated 2026 international touring cycle.

"Holy Wars" is available on all major streaming platforms.

Swedish Symphonic Metallers ZORNHEYM Unveil Third Single "The Funeral March" off upcoming studio album!

Swedish symphonic metal visionaries ZORNHEYM unleash the third single, "The Funeral March", taken from the band’s upcoming studio album Descending Into Madness, set for release on October 2 via Noble Demon.

Inspired by Frédéric Chopin’s legendary 'Funeral March', the new track sees ZORNHEYM merging crushing riffs, cinematic orchestration and subtle Scandinavian folk influences into one of the album’s most dramatic and emotionally charged moments.
"'The Funeral March' is the perfect marriage between classical music and Zornheym’s cinematic symphonic metal sound,” the band explains. "The choir takes on the role of mourners and pallbearers, lamenting the tragic fate of Dr. Bettelheim’s beloved wife as they accompany her final journey. Lyrically, the song marks the defining moment in Dr. Bettelheim’s descent into madness, as grief, guilt and despair finally consume him."

Stream the single

With Descending Into Madness, ZORNHEYM continue to expand their elaborate narrative universe centered around the infamous Zornheim asylum. Each release adds new layers to a story that blurs the line between horror, history and madness - where it is never entirely clear who the real inmates are.

Formed in Stockholm by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Zorn (ex-Dark Funeral), ZORNHEYM have built their identity on the fusion of symphonic metal, cinematic orchestration and melodic death metal influences. Their work is further enhanced by visual storytelling, graphic novels and short-film-style music videos, turning each release into a multi-dimensional experience.

Enjoy the new single "The Funeral March" by ZORNHEYM!

Butcher Babies Announce New Album NIGHTBLOOM
Due October 2nd via Judge & Jury Records
Band Unveils Official Music Video for “Blame It on the Wind”

Metal powerhouse Butcher Babies have announced their highly anticipated new album, NIGHTBLOOM, due out October 2nd via Judge & Jury Records. Along with the album announcement, the band has unveiled the official music video for their latest single, “Blame It on the Wind,” offering fans another preview of what promises to be one of the band’s most compelling releases yet.

A Powerhouse Production Team
NIGHTBLOOM was produced by acclaimed hitmaker Howard Benson, whose extensive credits include some of the biggest names in modern rock and metal (My Chemical Romance, Skillet, Daughtry, Halestorm, etc.). Joe Rickard, Neil Sanderson and Henry Flury served as co-producers, while Cameron Pierce Mizell and Evan McKeever provided additional production on “Songbird.”

Heidi Shepherd shares about writing the album,
"A couple of years ago, I found myself in a web of darkness that I couldn't shake. A vicious cycle of self loathing and doubt, all while my support system did everything in their power to remind me of who I am. I desperately wanted to see in myself what they saw in me. I needed a way to look in the mirror and find love for who was looking back at me. So, I shut off social media, and for the first time in my life, I started therapy."

"Therapy sent me down a rabbit hole that I didn't know existed. Over the course of a year, I was flooded with memories of trauma and emotions that I had suppressed. I started to feel that in this overwhelming darkness, these memories needed a way out. So, I started writing. I wrote about my failure of a 'perfect' marriage over 20 years ago. I wrote about the stormy canyon road that sent us to divorce. I wrote about watching the love of my life fall in love with someone else in front of me. I wrote about a one-night stand that has haunted me for decades. I wrote about a former boyfriend who took his own life. I wrote about Mormon religion ostracizing me while their members, and my neighbors shamed my family for supporting me. And even more currently, I wrote the abandonment of losing a best friend of 20 years. I wrote about moments that I didn't realize held so much weight on my heart until we tore that fu**er open in therapy."

"While, reliving and experiencing some of my darkest moments, I started to finally bloom. These songs grew and took on life in the dark. In writing these songs, I was able to turn negative experiences in my life into something positive, which in turn gave these memories a new place to live. Moments that I can look at and think 'Wow, I survived that. I bloomed in the darkest moments of my life.. My 'NIGHTBLOOM'.

This new album isn't about the suffering, it's about the survival.
These songs were born from memories of heartbreak, uncertainty, betrayal, and pain. But they're not just about those subjects, they're more about what grew because of them. This album, 'NIGHTBLOOM', is a reminder that not everything beautiful needs perfect sunshine to flourish. Sometimes the most meaningful parts of life begin in the darkest seasons."

"Writing with purpose. That was the overall theme of this album. Each part, layer, lyric was crafted with purpose and focus. Nothing was unimportant. Every detail was created to tell a story with a singular voice. NIGHTBLOOM is our most important work we’ve ever done in Butcher Babies," adds Henry Flury.

NIGHTBLOOM showcases Butcher Babies at their most focused and dynamic, combining the band’s signature aggression with soaring melodies and a modern production that pushes their sound forward. The band continue to cement their place among modern metal’s most formidable forces. The new album captures the band’s evolution while retaining the unapologetic energy, commanding vocals, and crushing instrumentation that have defined their career.
“Blame It on the Wind”, the latest single from the album, is already gaining significant momentum at rock radio, including strong support from SiriusXM Octane, building anticipation for the full-length album’s October 2nd release.

Butcher Babies will continue their extensive 2026 world tour with a nationwide U.S. run alongside Chad Gray (Mudvayne, Hellyeah) beginning in late summer and extending into the fall. The band will also appear at Louder Than Life in Kentucky, bringing their high-energy live show to fans across the country. The band's reputation as a live act has remained one of their defining characteristics, earning them repeat festival appearances and loyal fans worldwide.
