This is to ensure the completion of your tax return before the deadline on April 15th. Any tax documents submitted after the 31st is not guaranteed to completion and may be subject to an extension.

The Gas Mileage Rate is a deductible cost of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving expenses purposes.

The most common individuals to benefit from this Rate Increase are those who have a 1099 or a Business.

The Business rate has increased from 70 cents to 72.5 cents per mile

The Medical/Moving rate has decreased from 21 cents to 20.5 cents per mile

The Charitable rate has stayed the same at 14 cents per mile
