As we celebrate Labor Day and honor the hardworking individuals who keep our communities and businesses moving forward, please note our holiday schedule.

AMR locations will be closed on Saturday, September 5 and Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, September 8.

Last Friday, AMR 25th and 29th Street locations celebrated an important milestone: **275 days of working safely. **

This achievement reflects the daily commitment of our employees to looking out for one another, following safe work practices, and making safety a priority in everything we do.

To recognize their efforts, our leadership team hosted a safety appreciation lunch featuring grilled hotlinks and smoked pork. More than a meal, it was an opportunity to thank the people who make our safety culture possible every day.

We are proud of this milestone and, more importantly, proud of the continued focus and accountability our employees demonstrate in the workplace.

Thank you to our AMR team for 275 days safe and for continuing to put safety first.

Last week, managers from Allmetal Recycling and Scrap Management Industries came together to learn, collaborate, and prepare for another successful year.

From sharing best practices to discussing safety, customer service, and operational improvements, the meeting was filled with valuable conversations that will help us better serve our customers and support our teams.

Thanks for the invite! Watch for us along with the Garden Plain Can Brothers in the 4th of July Main Street Parade Saturday at 11AM! Jim & Gene Scheer earned that title by collecting and hauling cans to Allmetal Recycling, LLC with the payouts donated to Kansas Honor Flight. In June, their big load along with other supporters donating can & scrap payouts totaled $1,147! Since 2016, $126,000 has been donated to KHF through Allmetal premium payouts at locations across the state. Scrap Management Industries
