The Economic Recovery Corps (ERC), IEDC’s flagship initiative with the U.S. Economic Development Administration, was built around a question: Can communities move further on projects when they have dedicated capacity and expertise working alongside them?
ERC placed fellows into communities to become a part of the local ecosystem, building trust, strengthening partnerships, navigating barriers, and helping move projects from ideas toward implementation.
As the inaugural cohort wraps up this fall, the fellowship comes to an end, but the capacity, relationships and momentum built along the way continue.
