When something goes wrong, do the people around you go above the line or below it?
Below the line looks like blame, excuses, and denial. Above the line looks like ownership, accountability, and a willingness to ask what happened and what we do next.

The language people use tells you everything about where they are. If you want a stronger team, start listening for it.

Remember that feeling you get when you are in a great place with people who support and lift you up? I am being super intentional about being around the RIGHT people.

If we want to change our life, we must stop trying to force change through willpower alone. Change your environment first. The people you spend time with, the spaces you occupy, and the inputs you allow in every day are quietly shaping your habits, your mindset, and ultimately your results.

Meet my granddaughter our ActionCoach intern all summer long! At just 16, she jumped in, learned the ropes, and was a huge help around the office. This week she heads back to school, but don't worry you'll still catch her around from time to time. So proud of her, and so grateful for the summer we got to work together.

Your true identity isn't who you are on stage, in the meeting, or in front of a camera. It's who you are when no one's watching.

It's what you say to yourself in the quiet moments, the private thoughts nobody else hears. That's where your real character lives.

So the question isn't "how do I look to others." It's "who am I when I'm completely alone?"
