Thankful for kind words from empowered leaders. My time in Hockinson School District last week was a blessing. A day spent with great leaders, engaged teachers and motivated paraprofessionals. I wish them the very best as they start their school year tomorrow. , support one another and dream big. Your students are in for an amazing year.

In 2019 when I first began JM Educational Consulting, I got this map as a gift. It came with a guitar pick for me to scratch off and "uncover" the states I presented in. The colorful states are places I've shared my trauma-responsive message. To date I've traveled to 21 states and the District of Columbia. If you see your state is still grayed out, let's chat so we can change that.

It was a great day in Washington at Hockinson School District. This staff was reflective, engaged, student-focused and vulnerable. I'm so excited to partner with them, and to watch their trauma responsive journey as they while maintaining high expectations and offering high levels of support.

If you can't join me in Dallas this weekend for the Attachment & Trauma Network (ATN) Creating Trauma Sensitive Schools Conference, this is the next best thing - the After Pass. If you'll be there, make sure we connect. I'm honored to be presenting on the main stage Monday morning.
