Red teaming for investigations — a free tool to stress-test a live case, sharpen your interview planning, and catch potential errors before a case fails or even falls short.
Most wrongful convictions and failed investigations aren't one bad decision. They're a cascade of small, connected errors—tunnel vision, confirmation bias, and a premature lock on one suspect—that quietly compound inside an ordinary case.
I built the Investigative Red Team Toolkit to interrupt that. It's a fast, structured way for detectives, investigators, and supervisors to challenge their own case: run the checklist, work a pre-mortem, and generate a red-team finding you can drop straight into the file. It's grounded in a 2026 network analysis of 50 real investigative failures by Rossmo, D. K., Bouchard, M., & Summers, L. (2026)
It's free. Try it here:

PS - I'm looking for honest feedback before I build it out further. Run it on a case—even a past one—then send me your thoughts in a DM: what worked, what's missing, and what you'd change...in other words red team it!
