And… that’s a wrap! 🎉🥳

The final tax return on extension has been filed! It’s been a busy stretch of deadlines, follow-ups, signatures, and making sure everything gets across the finish line. But the last one is officially out the door!💯

If you’ve ever wondered what tax season looks like behind the scenes, this pretty much sums up the end of the day. Laptop open, feet up, brain officially offline. 😂

To my wonderful clients, thank you for your patience and for trusting me with your accounting and tax needs. I appreciate you!

Now, I’m calling it a day, recharging the batteries, and giving my brain cells a well-deserved break. 😴💤

Sometimes a business doesn’t need another monthly bookkeeping service. It needs someone willing to step in and figure things out.

Recently, I stepped in to help a client whose financial records had become complicated enough that a deeper, forensic-level review was necessary.

It’s not always about finding one big mistake. Sometimes it’s about following the trail, asking the right questions, reconciling what should have happened with what actually happened, and patiently working through the details until the picture becomes clear.

That’s where experience matters. And that’s something I’m always willing to do-remove the frustration, get the financials in order-so you can get back to running your business.

Today was a good day in the bookkeeping office. 😊

I met with a new client this morning, and I’m really looking forward to helping them get their books organized, bring some clarity to their financial records, and take a little stress off their shoulders.

I love what I do, but I especially love knowing that the work I do can make a real difference for a small business owner.

Sometimes a new client is more than just adding another name to the calendar. It’s the opportunity to step in, figure out the puzzle, and help someone get back on solid ground.

🐴 What’s your passion outside of your business?

Running a business can take up a LOT of time. There are books to keep, invoices to send, bills to pay, taxes, decisions to make… and before you know it, the day is gone.

But what about the things you love outside of work?

For me, it’s horses. ❤️ Sometimes my bookkeeping gets done with a horse nearby, and honestly, I’m perfectly happy with that arrangement.

You started your business to build a life, not to spend your entire life working in it.

Learning something new can be frustrating!

Last night I spent some time with my new camera and photographing the lunar eclipse was a bigger challenge than I expected. There were settings to figure out, things that didn’t work the way I thought they would and more than a little trial and error.

It reminded me that being good at something doesn’t mean you’re always going to know what you’re doing. You have to experiment, make mistakes, try something different, and occasionally wonder why in the world you thought this was going to be easy. 😂

And that’s true in business, too. Starting a new business and growing an existing business can be really challenging!

If, on the other hand, you’re struggling with your bookkeeping, that’s something I do really well. Let’s take that off your plate and free up your time to work on your business. Save your energy for the other frustrations of being a business owner!

Bloom where you are planted. 🌵🐝

There was bookkeeping to do this week, businesses to tend to, horses to take care of, ranch repairs and improvements-you know it’s just life happening in approximately one million different directions.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I was outside and noticed the cactus blooming. Beautiful flowers, busy bees, and a little reminder that growth doesn’t always happen on our timeline.

Sometimes you simply put down roots, do the work, and eventually you look around and realize you’re blooming, too.

Blooming takes time. So does building a business. So how are you growing?
