And just like that... August is wrapped up. 🌻

What a MONTH of senior sessions! I've spent so many evenings driving around Nebraska, exploring hometowns, walking through fields, dodging bugs 😂 and getting to know some pretty incredible Class of 2027 seniors.

And we're definitely not done yet!

Fall senior season is right around the corner, and it's one of my absolute favorite times to photograph. Cooler evenings, changing colors, layers, boots and all those gorgeous Nebraska fall tones. 🍂

Fall family pictures aren't just for the Christmas card.

They're the photos that end up framed in your living room. On Grandma's shelf. On your desk at work. And eventually become the pictures you look back on and think, how were they ever that little? 🥹

That's one of the biggest reasons I love helping my families actually print their photos instead of letting another year of memories disappear into the camera roll.

Because the Christmas card might only hang around for a few weeks...
but this? This gets to stay. 🤍

WE’RE BRINGING THESE HOME. 🎄🤍

This year’s Christmas Tree Farm Minis are happening somewhere extra special... at my parents’ place, where I grew up!

And there’s just something about getting to bring my photography back to a place that holds so many memories for me. Now I get to photograph YOUR families making memories there too. 🥹

We’re keeping these simple. Beautiful rows of evergreens, cozy outfits, lots of snuggles and your family exactly as they are right now. (I have had a request so I will have a small area set up with some holiday themed decor as well but I don't have those pics taken to share examples quite yet)

Hello, September! 🍂 And hellooooo to the “ber” months!

Senior season is still going strong, fall family photos are officially here, and my calendar is starting to look a whole lot more full. 🤍

🎓 CLASS OF 2027 SENIORS: YES, you can absolutely still book your senior pictures! I have select dates available throughout September, October + November. Fall sessions are some of my favorites, but once sports, activities and earlier sunsets get added into the mix, scheduling gets a little trickier. If you're still needing senior pictures, let's get you on the calendar!

Finding the pretty light
Fixing hair + watching all the little details
Telling you exactly what to do with your hands 😂
Finding locations you'd probably drive right past
Hyping you up from behind the camera
And occasionally standing in some questionable weeds to get the shot

You do NOT have to show up knowing how to pose or what to do. That's my job!

This is your reminder that your senior pictures don't have to look like anyone else's. 🤍

They can be colorful. They can be simple. They can be on your family farm, downtown, surrounded by flowers, on the softball field, or somewhere completely new.

The goal isn't to recreate someone else's senior pictures.

It's to create something that feels like YOU.

How many outfits do you REALLY need for senior pictures? 👗👖

Short answer: probably fewer than you think. 😉
You don't need to show up with a suitcase overflowing with clothes to get tons of variety from your senior session. A few intentional outfits that feel different from one another will give us plenty to work with!

Think:
✨ Something casual that feels like YOU
✨ Something a little more elevated
✨ Something that tells your story

And don't worry, you don't have to figure it all out alone! We'll go through outfits, locations, and all the little details together before your session so you can show up ready to have FUN.

Chloie’s senior session came with a few VERY special guests. 🥹💍🐾

We headed to Platte River State Park for her senior pictures on the most beautiful evening, but her dad had a little surprise up his sleeve… a proposal! I love that he had this planned with me and Chloie! How special 💍 So naturally, we had to pause the senior session for a few engagement pictures too. 😉 (I've got those saved for them to share on their own first)

And then sweet Doby joined us because obviously the pup deserves to be part of the memories too. 🐾

I absolutely LOVE when senior sessions turn into something even more special than we planned. Chloie, your night was such a good one! 💛
