I’ve had the privilege of knowing Nick Calandrino for many years through his work as singer/songwriter/guitarist with the Gunboat Kings — a true musician with talent, soul, and a deep love for the craft. Watching him now step into his solo work is both exciting and inspiring.

Robert Rankin Walker/Heyday Productions did another fabulous job putting together last night’s Dark in the Park Concert and Laser Light Show. The sound, the laser lights, the crowd, the vibe — everything came together perfectly for an unforgettable night of live music and pre Halloween family fun.

I finally got to see the Temecula-based band Those Guys, and honestly, I was blown away. What really impressed me was how they took familiar covers and made them their own without losing the heart and integrity of the original artists. That’s not easy to do, but they nailed it.

The band has incredible chemistry on stage and — according to their website — consists of Kyle Hudson, Anthony Necerato, Steven Harding, and Sean Maier. You can tell they love what they do, and that energy spreads through the entire crowd.

If you ever get the chance to catch Those Guys, do it. Great music, great vibes — I’m already looking forward to the next show.
