HOLY SMOKES! 🤩🤩🤩

SpaceX Falcon 9 really showed off this morning. ✨

✨ Who else caught this magical spectacle in the sky? 🚀🌌

What an incredible sight from my very own front yard this morning! I was lucky enough to capture these stunning photos of the phenomenon known as a “space jellyfish.” 🪼✨

Sometimes Mother Nature (with a little help from rocket science!) puts on the most spectacular show.

SpaceX Falcon 9 is carrying supplies to the ISS. No filters or adjustments, only using the Zoom on my iPhone.

The 'space jellyfish' phenomenon happens when there is a launch while the sun is below the horizon. What you see isn't any different than what happens during a midday or overnight launch. It just has the chance to be illuminated from a different angle.

Just another reason I love calling Central Florida home! 💫

Slightly 'personal' post ahead...

Yesterday, a patient’s daughter came to my office for an appointment. Her mother had been my patient for the past year, and I expected to see them together. Instead, she came to tell me in person that her mother had passed away over the weekend.

I’ve been thinking about that kindness ever since.

I absolutely LOVE what I do. It is so rewarding.

Helping someone hear better means helping them stay connected to the people they love. It also means taking the extra time they need—listening, explaining things again, and being there through changes that aren’t always easy. I’m grateful her daughter felt that care and wanted to share this news with me herself.

She also donated her mother’s hearing aids in the hope that they can be refurbished and help someone else hear better. I can’t think of a more meaningful way for her mother’s legacy to continue.

I am grateful for the trust this family has placed in me with their mother's hearing healthcare. I will remember her fondly. 🤍
