Ventnor City Celebrates Completion of Part 1 of the Major Boardwalk Replacement Project
DeBlasio & Associates is proud to have partnered with Ventnor City on the successful completion of Part 1 of the city’s major boardwalk replacement project.
The newly reconstructed section spans approximately 20 blocks between Jackson Avenue and Cambridge Avenue and represents a significant investment in the community’s coastal infrastructure, safety, accessibility, and tourism economy.
Completed during the winter construction season, the project included:
✔️ Full replacement of the boardwalk structure, including pilings, decking, and supporting elements
✔️ New pavilions and enhanced public amenities
✔️ Improved street-end ramps for accessibility
✔️ Upgraded railings and lighting for increased safety
On April 29, 2026, city officials, residents, project partners, and community leaders gathered at the Suffolk Avenue entrance to celebrate the official opening of this important community asset.
We thank Ventnor City for the opportunity to help deliver a safer, stronger, and more resilient boardwalk that will serve residents and visitors for generations to come.
Part 2 of the approximately $7.1 million project is scheduled to continue next fall, completing the remaining section between Suffolk Avenue and Jackson Avenue.
