Just finished this commissioned box designed specifically for storing rod-winding thread used by rod builders and call makers.

This one holds 40 spools total - two stacks of 20 - with finger grooves built into the spool holders so the bottom spools are easy to grab.

I donā€™t have any rod-winding thread on hand, so I printed a few cylinders - the white things in the pics - to act as stunt doubles for the actual thread spools and ensure proper fit and function.
