𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁

We wrapped up our last pick of the year with this bin of Mourvèdre at sunrise on Saturday. For the first time, we do all of our 2026 harvesting under the stars for one simple reason: the wine tastes better.

Next on the flight plan: fermentation at the winery, followed by a well-deserved rest in our French oak barrels until this vintage is ready for takeoff.

High desert grasslands at 4,200 feet turned out to be exactly what Arizona needed for wine grapes. Willcox sits in the state's largest wine-growing region, with warm days, cool nights, and mineral-rich soil that now support more than two dozen vineyards. 🍇🏔️

The town itself started as a railroad shipping point in 1880 and later became famous as the hometown of singing cowboy Rex Allen, whose statue still stands downtown. Today the surrounding grasslands, once solely cattle country, produce some of the most award-winning wine in the Southwest.

Cattle country and wine country turned out to be the same dirt all along.
