Hey all! A grant recently brought to my attention is providing assistant to help bring more homes in Josephine county up to a defensible level. The details are on the Josephine county website (link attached). After being on structure protection task force’s through the years on wildland fires, I understand deeper, the importance of having homes ready to defend against an approaching fire front. Check it out, and see if this would work for you. If you participate in the program, we would love to look at the work you need and give you a bid to complete it. You will need three fully licensed contractors to inspect and bid the work. Also, if this sounds interesting to you, I would suggest acting quick, as the grant is open to most rural areas in Josephine county and will expire before long. When there is no drop zone, and the tree must come out….. this was a fun tedious little ash removal. I’ve always really loved the look of trees growing through decks, aesthetically, but removing them sure presents some added difficulty.

Largest silver maple we’ve removed. Unfortunately this one was destroying the driveway and beginning to do the same with the foundation of the home. Try to remember when planting trees, that they are going to expand greatly under the ground. Keep in mind how that might look in 20,50 100 years plus.

Funny accidental shot….. Timing is everything…. I got a good laugh on this one after I came down and seen the photo, thought about renaming my company😂 any thoughts? Wood pe**er tree service?
