Service has been restored after this weekend’s outage caused by the Mina Fire. Thank you for your patience over the holiday weekend.

A huge thank you to the first responders, construction crews, and fiber splicing teams who worked tirelessly to make restoration possible.

🇺🇸 Service Update - RESTORED

UPDATE 2:25am: Splicing teams have completed work on new spans of aerial and underground cable. Service is restored and being ramped up slowly, as systems reboot. Please allow several hours to regain full access.

UPDATE 5:52pm: Splicing resources continue efforts to install conduit for the underground portion of the cable route. Upon completion of conduit placement, technicians will begin installing the aerial segment of the span.

UPDATE 2:38pm: Due to lingering hotspots and residual ground hazards resulting from the fire, all work is being performed with heightened safety precautions. Restoration activities remain in progress, and an update will be provided as additional milestones are reached or new information becomes available.

UPDATE 12:48pm: The Splicing Team has arrived on site, and technicians are working in conjunction with Field Operations to place approximately 6,800 feet of replacement microfiber cable. Upon completion of cable placement, preparation and splicing activities will commence to support service restoration efforts.

UPDATE 11:42am: Field Operations is working to locate the exact damaged section of cable across approximately 5,000 feet of aerial fiber infrastructure spanning a canyon. Investigation and testing efforts are ongoing to pinpoint the fault location and support development of an effective repair plan

UPDATE 9:24am: The Outside Plant Engineer (OSPE) has engaged a Splicing Team to assist with repair efforts and is currently awaiting an estimated time of arrival

UPDATE 5:32pm: A fire near Yarnell has been identified as the probable cause. More updates to follow.

UPDATE 4:56pm - A higher-level issue has been identified. Higher-level isolation is in progress

⚡️Temporary Service Outage - RESTORED!⚡️

We have just received confirmation that the Field Operations Teams have completed repairs to the damaged fiber line affected by The Jones Fire. Service is now beginning to come back online.

At this time, the network is operating at approximately 30% capacity while systems slowly reboot, and traffic stabilizes across the repaired fiber path. Our team is also working device-by-device to verify connectivity and ensure everything is functioning properly.

We sincerely apologize for this extended outage. This situation was completely outside of our control, but we know how disruptive it has been and truly appreciate your patience and support while crews worked safely to restore service.

Thank you again for bearing with us — we are continuing to monitor the network closely until full service is restored.
