⚡️Temporary Service Outage - RESTORED!⚡️

We have just received confirmation that the Field Operations Teams have completed repairs to the damaged fiber line affected by The Jones Fire. Service is now beginning to come back online.

At this time, the network is operating at approximately 30% capacity while systems slowly reboot, and traffic stabilizes across the repaired fiber path. Our team is also working device-by-device to verify connectivity and ensure everything is functioning properly.

We sincerely apologize for this extended outage. This situation was completely outside of our control, but we know how disruptive it has been and truly appreciate your patience and support while crews worked safely to restore service.

Thank you again for bearing with us — we are continuing to monitor the network closely until full service is restored.

🔥 Service Outage Update - Jones Fire 🔥

UPDATE 3:40pm: Fiber placement is almost complete. Teams are moving equipment and will use trucks to pull the fiber the rest of the way to the manhole

UPDATE 2:36pm: Splicing efforts have commenced at one end of the cable

UPDATE 1:33pm: The fire has been contained and the fiber pull has resumed. Teams have pulled 3500 feet of cable into place to the first location. Teams are now en route to the second location to continue the fiber pull.

UPDATE 12:52pm: Work is underway to confirm the status of the additional fire. It has been advised repair efforts have been paused until fire crews have contained the additional fire

UPDATE 7:46am: Repair crews have given the all clear and the ground has cooled enough to be safe for workers and material.

We want to provide an update regarding the ongoing service outage affecting our customers. The Jones Fire in Wickenburg, Arizona severely damaged the telephone pole line carrying our stream feed, resulting in a loss of service beginning around 2:00 PM yesterday, May 11th 2026.

Our team is working diligently to restore connectivity as quickly as possible. However, the safety of the construction crews and first responders actively working in the fire area remains the top priority.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult situation, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

⚠️ Temporary Service Outage - WILDFIRE⚠️

Telcom West sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may have caused you or your business. We are giving you updates as soon as we get them.

UPDATE 7:46am: Repair crews have given the all clear and the ground has cooled enough to be safe for workers and material.

UPDATE 7:56: The fire crews are actively fighting a fire along the pole line that is housing the fiber. Additionally, the ground is too hot for fiber to be placed on the ground. Once it is safe to do so, onsite crews will begin necessary repairs.

UPDATE 7:08pm: Field Ops arrived onsite; however, there is still fire present on both sides of the road. At this time, there is no timeframe for when Field Ops will have access to the damage location.

UPDATE 6:21pm: On-site crews have been given the all clear by law enforcement to mobilize to the location of the damage, and will begin assessment and construction.

UPDATE 6:08pm: Field Ops have confirmed that the road is expected to remain closed until 04:30am GMT. A team is staged at the road closure and ready to deploy as soon as the road is opened.

UPDATE 4:48pm: Field Ops have been dispatched to assist with isolating the damage; however, there is no ETA yet due to road closures. The wildfire is contained and roads have begun to re-open. Once onsite, Field Ops will confirm the location of the damage and begin restoration efforts when the area has been deemed safe.

UPDATE 3:37pm: Field Operations confirmed there is currently an active wildfire in the area. Emergency Crews are enroute to the suspected damage location but are encountering delays due to road closures. A construction team has also been mobilized to retrieve replacement material and dispatch to the location to assist with restoration efforts.

UPDATE 2:56pm: The upstream provider has determined the location of the outage. They have not provided an ETA as of now.

UPDATE 2:39pm: The upstream provider is determined to be the cause, all of Williams and Flagstaff are without internet.
