Content Pillars to Lean On: Save for later when you get stuck!

When creating content, like any artist or creative, you get stumped right? And so sometimes we just need a little guidance in the right direction. Now this may not work for everyone, but feel free to use your own variation of my 6 pillars to help you and your account grow and diversify your feed!

The 6 Content Pillars I utilize are : Educational, Inspiring, Motivational, Informative, Useful, and Shareable

Educational: Teaching your viewers! Whether it’s a behind the scenes view of your work and how you create your products or even the editing process of pictures after a shoot👀

Inspiring: As a creative, have fun with it! I see this category as the “freeby” whether I choose to have an inspirational quote to dive into; or even a piece of artwork I’ve done to just open inspirational conversation with followers🧚🏼‍♀️ use this category to inspire others as well as show your own inspirations or creativity.

Motivational: Motivational content isn’t just about making people feel better about themselves, it’s about showing how your brand, your message, and your goods/services can help make their issues “disappear”. This context is used to both inspire and motivate your followers to make a proactive decision to hopefully better themself or their biz📈

Informative: Providing information about your brand/business to better help users understand the services you provide! How are people gonna know what you have to offer, if you don’t share it?📝

Useful: CALL TO ACTIONS! 📣Encouraging the user to save the Useful Information for later can increase the saves of your content! These are great ways to start open dialogue with your followers in the comments section and can even tie into...

Shareable: Shareable content! Thee most important due to its abilities to spread your content to new users that you may not normally reach. By having a CTA for sharing that piece of, content whether it be a giveaway or a new product, helps increase your accounts overall outreach🛫

Which pillars do you utilize? Are they similar to mine above? Chat down below! I love hearing other peoples methods💌👇🏻

Do you struggle with content writing?

Let’s face it, everyone hits a roadblock every now and then unfortunately 😭 but don’t lose focus! It happens to the best of us and sometimes we just need a little guidance on where to go from there

When it comes to content writing, there are various pillars you could utilize depending on your needs! From informational, educational, or motivational, to even shareable, it is best to focus first on your posts main topic. Your captions should relate to the Image to better help your followers make the connection from what they first see, to the writing they find below👇🏻

🌟CTA: Call To Action! That first line of text is all you have to grab that reader's attention, so make sure to hook them in for the rest of your content! A good way to do so is by using a Call To Action as an opener such as: “Save this for later!” “Tag a friend below” “Share to your story for a chance…”. This causes the user to interact with your content longer and helps captivate them into the main information you have written, as well as possibly share it with others

🌿Inconsistent feed? Plan it out in advance! Even by planning your posts for a week ahead can have you feeling prepared and confident about the content you are producing. It also allows you to write your captions in advance rather than on the spot which can seem jumbled or rushed⌛

🤷🏼‍♀️Not sure of what kind of content to make? Not sure what fits your feed? I have a post coming later this week on Content Pillars to Lean On, stay posted 💌

Mental Health Awareness Month

Happy Monday everyone and here is to a productive week! But more importantly, I wanted to take a moment and touch on the topic of May being Mental Health Awareness Month 🌱🧠🌟

One thing specifically I do appreciate is the growing societal awareness and acknowledgement of Mental Health. From the standpoint of someone who has experience with mental illness, as well as family/friends with such, it’s relieving that the general population is more accepting towards mental health and its treatment methods.

On the topic of the more common mental illnesses, anxiety and depression are now more so acknowledged and spoken about freely with individuals also being more accepting to talking therapy methods 🗣

And for those of you who are there just even as a supportive friend during dark times, those you are supporting appreciate you more than you know💚

Even if you may not know how to help or handle the situation, sometimes it just helps to be heard and acknowledged by someone who supports you💫

And for those of you who need support, there are a plethora of great resources and lines to connect with when you can’t get ahold of someone when in need, here are just a few and more will be listed on my story by tomorrow, Tuesday✨🦋 :

National Alliance on Mental Illness: 1-800-950-6264
Su***de Prevention Line: 1-800-273-8255

If you struggle with mental illness, or maybe even just have some bad mental health days, remember to just sit back and take a moment for yourself sometimes. I know it may be hard to relax or you may feel lazy/unproductive when you sit down and take time for you, but if I have learned one thing it is that you need to take time for yourself! And only you can truly determine how long or what you need, everyone has their own struggles and all we can do is hope they cope with them in a healthy manner and grow from their experiences 🧠🌱

Does anyone else have any mental health resources they want to provide? I may begin a line of mental health positive content for Mondays🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyways, drop your mental health related resources or hotlines down below if you’d like to share💌

The Instagram Algorithm - How has it changed?✨

Save this for later !!

We want our content to be seen and heard by those within our niche! And by utilizing the components of the Instagram Algorithm in 2021, you can do just that ! 👀

Let’s break it down:
For those of you who don’t know, the Instagram Algorithm is a built-in feature of the app which has the purpose of combing through content based on that user's preferences and determining what content the user will be exposed to! It will then sort through all available content for the user based on:

Timeliness: The most recent posts tend to be those determined most important due to it being NEW content. Accounts which post consistently and within peak hours have higher chances of a broader outreach and interaction with their following.

Relationship: How long they have been following and how frequently the user interacts with your account will boost your pages content in their algorithm! Do they simply like your post and move on? Or does your content captivate them enough to even share it? By engaging with and captivating your audience with consistent content/engagement, it can build your business and relationships for the better! Which ties right into…

Interest: By tracking the user’s interests through hashtags, post content, time spent on each specific post, etc, the algorithm will promote content the user is interested in! By doing this, it allows the user to have a feed composed of their interests as well as broadening content within their niches.

By using these three categories, the algorithm is able to show the user a wider variety of content that is aimed towards their interests! And by utilizing your outreach tools (hashtag research, analytics, content writing, engagement, etc) your content can be pushed to your ideal audience.

Do you maybe struggle with content writing? Stay tuned for more information on that this week! As well as I hope you all are healthy, stay safe, and enjoy the nice weather we’ve been having! Go outside! 😊✨🌱

Branding your Business

Building a brand to represent your business can help in so many ways ! But here are just a few🤷🏼‍♀️

Stand out in a Saturated Market
If you are a small business or entrepreneur, you have probably realized there are quite a few of us out here😅. Branding allows your biz to stand out in the saturated market and can even help reflect your business and personal style✨

Professional Appearance
When a business has a clear and cooperative color palette, paired with the other qualities of branding (fonts, post styles, collections), customers are more likely to make a purchase from your business.🌱

Attract Ideal Clients
Individuals engage and associate with brands that have similar values to their own. If your brand clearly represents your business, you’ll be more likely to attract the right clientele🥳

Consistency!
Branding = Consistency, simple as that🤷🏼‍♀️ no more worrying about what font to use or which colors/stickers for your graphics. Building a branding kit will save you so much time in the long run and make a cohesive feed.

Easier to Introduce New Products/Services
Building up a strong brand will establish a connection with your community. Your audience will already be interested in what you do, so they will be more inclined to accept, participate in, or celebrate the new things you are offering.

Not sure how to build a branding kit? Just shoot me a message with your questions💌

And we are... back!
It has taken some time to adjust after the move but I am back up and running! Everyone and everything made it safe on the trip down to VA and it’s great to be back to work😁

Here is just a short re-introduction of myself; hey! I’m Hannah and I operate as a Virtual Assistant/Social Media Manager for creatives and small businesses and excessively use exclamation points !

In my free time however, I enjoy being a plant parent as well as trying out various forms of art! Fun fact: I have 42 plants currently in my room 🌱🌿 and have a wish list of plants to still obtain😅And no they normally aren’t crowded all on my desk, gotta work somewhere!

Thinking of doing plant tip highlights ? We’ll see 🤷🏼‍♀️
All in all, excited to be back and looking forward to networking!

Hustle: /ˈhəsəl/ verb
Sometimes necessary, sometimes overrated. When done too often without rest, can lead to burnout and more frequent outbursts.

Let's talk side hustles👇🏻

On paper, it seems like a fairly simple concept, right? But once you start production, and get in the swing of things, the list of "To-Do" seems to just get longer and longer with the "Done" list never getting complete. You can start to feel disorganized and maybe even a little overwhelmed.

When running a business, there will be countless obstacles you will face that will make you question "Can I really do this for a living? Should I quit my 9-5 if it is this overwhelming ?" Do yourself and your business a favor, outsource! Without rest or outsourcing your grit work, running a business alone can be stressful.

Comment below some of your pain points as a business and see if others relate👇🏻 Or even shoot me a DM and we can chat😁

Let's talk! What is a Virtual Assistant? What do we do?

THIS ^ question has been by far the most asked question I have gotten since starting out in the industry. To summarize it into one blissful word for business owners... ✨𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜✨

Yes, outsourcing! By having a virtual assistant, you are able to have the grit work of your business outsourced to a trusted individual and not a third party company. It is an easy way to dial back the stress whether you run an account, a business, or even both.

Outsourcing can be scary, especially for those outsourcing portions of their business since it may be their livelihood. Giving up that control over even small aspects can make business owners nervous, but in the long run, is so worth it! By getting a V.A. and outsourcing the grit work, you can get back to doing what you enjoy.

I have some general outlined services on the next slide, however, for more in depth descriptions and services, they are listed at my website:
