New MACT and GACT Boiler Regulations were just signed into law and take effect on May 20, 2011. These regulations apply to all bio-fuel, mixed-fuel, coal, and oil fired boilers. Triannual stack testing for CO, PM, and Hg as well as Energy Assessments will be required. Mayfield Environmental can help you comply with these new regulations for all of your institutional and commercial boilers!

Currently DEQ has an issued burning ban for many localities because the conditions are favorable for spreading wildfire. Now that we are in a drought diligence is needed concerning the use of burning for the removal of debris from our yards. Burning is not an environmentally friendly alternative any time of the year. Many localities will take the debris and compost or chip it for residential use free of charge.
