This probably isn't news to you and ironically, you are likely reading this from your phone: our phones are designed to distract us. I'm sure you have felt the frustration of having looked up, only to discover that you have wasted another precious chunk of time in your life.
I have guided many of my clients to come up with strategies to quarantine their phones. This has extended from reducing distractions during the day by turning notifications off or leaving their phone in a different room to getting more sleep at night by charging their phones in a different room.
Our brains weren't meant to multi-task. My clients find that when they remove their phone distractions, they are more productive and they have more brain power.
