Community and Peer Services

CAPS - Community And Peer Services, provides training and development for the Mental Health workforce. We also provide direct services through facilitating therapeutic/ behavioral groups and guidance/supportive services. Caps is training and seeking staff to be Coaches, Junior Peer Mentors, and Peer Mentors who have lived experience of finding a pathway through recovery from difficult experiences

into stability and success. These individuals will participate in individual and group meetings to understand what is going on in the lives of the individuals they serve and strategize how to help them achieve success. Individuals certified in Peer/Recovery Support at our company operate outside the scope of traditional Peer/Recovery Support, and are instead called Mentors, as are our contractors who lack lived experience in Mental Health. Caps will train and have experienced mentors people can interact with that may have similar backgrounds and goals. The goal and purpose of this business is to offer services that are intended for ANYONE to benefit from. However, all staff will be trained to some extent to recognize signs and symptoms of poor mental health and may help others to overcome it. CAPS is intended to be a national/international company and initiative in Mental Health.
