Saw someone grousing about the Beneficial Owner Info that is being collected under the Corporate Transparency Act.

My understanding is that you do not need to be recognized by name if you prefer not to! Go https://www.fincen.gov/boi to get an alternative FinCen ID number (right-hand side of the screen).

Also, data collected using this act isn't available publicly. The reason to collect this info is to stop/detect money laundering and other illegal activities, so as long as we're not doing that, it's just another form to fill out as business owners! You have till Jan 1 2025 if your business was established before 2024. 🙂

This is my client. Before we started working together, he would've never bid this job. If he had, he would've done it break even if he was lucky.

We worked together to determine actual costs & develop a pricing structure and spreadsheet that means we plug in values standard to his field and it tells him, unsentimentally, how much that job costs. Y'all, I know you feel it, too. This here is *real*. Sometimes, we wanna give up.

Not gonna lie, the world is heavy on me the past few months, and I've been feeling. it.

But ya know what happens when you give in or give up? Nothing.

So, I'm regrouping. I actually do a bunch of businessey activities, and I've, to date, been putting them all in different buckets.

I've decided to take the advice I'm always giving my clients and try to figure out how to use the work I'm already doing to make money.

Couple things.

1. Melania really does NOT care about the donald sleeping with other people. It's not why she's in it. I can't for a second fathom why, but I am one million percent sure it isn't s*x. She finds him to be disgusting. It is on her face every time they are photographed together. So I am not gonna waste worry on his potential side piece. America doesn't care about men being faithful, either. So. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2. I am loving all this cat and dog snack schadenfreude, but people of Hatian descent are getting targeted in Springfield, OH the same as people who got profiled as Muslim in the days after 9/11. The same way folks who looked Asian faced ridicule and malfeasance after COVID happened. This is not cool. We need to tell people the truth about folks from Haiti. There is more we have in common than what separates us.

3. This all feels so much less horrible and desperate, but it's still a sliver-close race. We cannot let our guards down or stop fighting. Talk to the people in your life. Canvas if you can. Make sure the youths in your life are registered and equipped to learn about the candidates from responsible journalism. It is not too late to volunteer. Votesaveamerica.com
