In fact, it should be more so. So as we move into the back half of the year, review your progress on your goals and re-commit yourself to getting them done...for you!

Last week was the 4th of July. America’s celebration of independence. Whether this is a holiday that sits deep inside you with meaning or one that doesn’t resonate with you, I think we all can pull from it. Many countries around the world have time set aside to honor and celebrate their independence...their liberation.

What things, people, events, situations, mindsets, etc. are holding you back from being all you were fashioned to be? Take stock. Devise a plan. Break free. Then celebrate your own Independence Day!

What fills you up? For me, one thing that fills me up is MY PEOPLE!

Life is hectic and we are often constantly giving. Be sure to make the time to pour INTO yourself as much as you are pouring OUT into the world!

Yesterday in my yoga practice (thank you Yoga with Adriene) I was reminded of the need to clean your body of toxins. Our bodies have physical ways of clearing these toxins such as through our kidneys and livers.

But what about mental & emotional "toxins"? These too have to go! I invite and implore you each to take a few moments on a regular basis to do so...whether by meditating, praying, sitting in peace or simply stopping to smell the "roses"! Then, feel energized to hit the ground running.

These orchids did just that for me.
