Mom had a stroke on August 23, 2017, at her 76th Birthday party. She had an ischemic stroke where a blood clot developed near her cerebellum in her brain, which is responsible for balance.

She had just turned 83 years of age on August 23, 2024, and a few days later, she had heart failure and pneumonia. Thank God for the outstanding expertise of her cardiologist Dr. Henry and her pulmonary specialist, Dr. Trotman, and the exceptional service of the nurses and staff at Westshore Medical, where mom was brought back to a better place. Many thanks to you all who prayed for Mom's recovery. Thank you, God, for saving my mom's life and giving her a third extension.
