Multi-Skilled Operator II [Contract]

Job Summary
The Multi-Skilled Operator II is responsible for day-to-day well and facility operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of production equipment. This role requires hands-on operational experience, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, maintenance, and support teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Key Accountabilities
Operate and monitor well operations including gas-lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, control boards, and pipeline systems.
Perform minor maintenance on valves, pumps, and rotating equipment.
Assist other operators and craft personnel as required.
Prepare for and execute maintenance activities including taking readings, conducting rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, and initiating work requests.
Write and follow operating procedures and interface with internal support groups.
Proactively monitor well and equipment performance and take corrective actions to maximize production.
Coordinate with support teams to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion inhibition, paraffin control, soap injection, etc.).
Interface with Engineering for data gathering and operational support requests.
Track and record test compression data.
Conduct fluid level measurements using an echo meter.
Required & Preferred Skills and Experience
Intermediate-level experience; typically 3–5 years in oil and gas operations.
Ability to provide technical, functional, and/or administrative support.
General working knowledge of department-specific systems, terminology, and procedures.
Capable of performing routine operational tasks independently.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and make basic operational decisions.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to operational procedures.
Truck Provided
Pay $40.00 - 50.00/hr.
