🔩 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘠𝘰𝘶, 𝘗𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘭! 🔩

We want to send a 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 to Pacific Steel & Recycling for their generous donation of welding materials that made our welding competition possible!

This event on January 30th will bring together approximately 15 students from Minot, Alexander, Bakken Area Skills Center , and Trenton Public School to complete four different welds using 𝗠𝗜𝗚 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗥𝗖 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. Pacific Steel 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, giving them a hands-on opportunity to showcase their skills.

With four judges and a bragging rights trophy on the line 🏆, we’re excited to kick off what we hope becomes a growing tradition with 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 in the future.

The City of Williston’s Fall Clean Williston event is scheduled for Saturday, September 28 and we need your help!

Our volunteers are what help make Clean Williston a success year after year!

We welcome all individuals, businesses, schools or civic groups interested in participating in this year’s event to register online for a zone! Scan the QR or register at http://bit.ly/CleanWilliston.

Volunteers will receive a free Clean Williston t-shirt (limited quantities and sizing available) and a light breakfast. Public Works will provide safety vests, gloves, and garbage bags.

In the event of inclement weather, Clean Williston will be held on Saturday, Oct 5, and this change will be announced on City of Williston social media and www.cityofwilliston.com.

Clean Williston will be held at the Williston Public Works facility at 1121 5th Street East.
