Memorial Day isn’t just cookouts and time off — it’s a reminder of those who gave their lives so we could live ours in freedom.

Let this Memorial Day serve as a daily reminder that the best way to honor the fallen is by protecting the living — let’s make sure everyone gets home safe each and every day.

HIGH WIND WARNING: High Winds Gusts up to 75 mph expected + Freezing Rain + Blowing Snow = Mother Nature's Shut-Down Special

All you patch warriors—listen up! We're staring down a triple-threat storm that's got "operations suspended" written all over it: Even the National Weather Service says it's going to hit like a freight train!

High Winds: If your hard hat takes off, please file a flight plan. Anything not tied down twice is gonna relocate itself—permanently: If you see a porta‑potty sliding across the pad, do not attempt recovery.

Freezing Rain: The silent killer that ices over walking surfaces, catwalks, stairs, and handrails faster than you can say "black ice." One wrong step and you're doing the oilfield slip 'n' slide—straight to the medic.

Blowing Snow: Roads turning into skating rinks, and your pickup becoming a 4x4 sled whether you like it or not - For all you Southerners this means - Slow Down and Don't use Cruise Control!

Oilfield-Specific Safety Tips (With Zero Sugarcoating): If the company's calling it a weather day, take it. No paycheck's worth killing yourself or someone else. Your family is counting on YOU!

Traveling? Chains, survival kit, and extra fuel. Lease roads and highways will eat sand and water trucks alive in this mess—don't be the guy that gets his photo on Bakken Fail!

Pro tip: If it's blowing snow hard enough to sandblast your beard off, it's time to shut 'er down and hit the man camp for coffee and war stories.

Don't play tough guy—safety first, production second. Stay safe out there, boys. Winter in the oilfield doesn't care how tough you are.
