Earlier this month, the McKenzie County Board of Commissioners approved $11.08 million in funding for three housing programs aimed directly at one of the most persistent challenges across the Bakken: getting more attainable housing built and into the hands of local residents.

We love a good historical romance! If you've lived in Williston for a few years, you have probably driven past this Parade of Homes entry on Main Street. Built in 1920, this six unit apartment building slowly succumbed to time and was really showing her age and lack of care.

Her current owners, Suazo Dahl Group, took everything out down to the studs and brought the building back to life with fresh electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety features and more. This may be the only time you get to see inside this local treasure. With the ink still fresh on the rental agreement, the building's owners offered to open it to the public this Saturday for the WABA Parade of Homes before the building starts its new life as a modern duplex.
