Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared a lot with you.

I told you about a random car ride and a man named Richie. I told you about my granddaughter Delilah. I showed you where your $5 a month goes and why it matters. I asked you to join us.

Today I mostly just want to say thank you.

Thank you for opening these emails. For caring about what happens here in Kaufman County. For being part of the community that surrounds Bee Happy, even from a distance. That means more to us than you know.

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a monthly donor and have not quite made the jump, today is a great day to do it. We built a fake fire to be used in our fire drills. Robert decided to make one for himself. Evidently the automatic "flame on" feature still needs some fine-tuning. 🤣
