A huge shoutout to the guys for an incredible job on this project!
What started as a simple awning consultation turned into two awnings, five motorized screens, a brand-new deck, and a complete porch transformation.
Earlier this spring, Sandy called us about installing an awning on her second-story porch. After taking measurements, we got to talking about small business and how difficult it can be to find contractors who actually return calls and show up when they say they will.
During the conversation, she pointed to her screened porch and asked, “Do you know anyone who can turn my porch into an all-season room? I can’t get anyone to show up let alone to call me back.”
After learning more about what she wanted to accomplish, I explained that we could achieve nearly the same result by upgrading her porch and installing motorized storm screens. The added benefit? She could still completely open up the space whenever she wanted and enjoy the outdoor feel of her porch.
Fast forward a few months, and we’ve completed the project. We removed all of the existing screens, wrapped the columns in PVC, built a new deck that wraps around the entire porch, and installed five motorized screens and two awnings.
Projects like this are exactly why I never dismiss a phone call or inquiry. A $5,000 awning project turned into a $60,000+ outdoor living transformation simply because we answered the phone, showed up, and listened.
