Was our pleasure to sit in again with Joe Catenacci to talk about . Started off talking about the H2GO plant and latest developments about the lawsuit, shifted to CFPUA and their agreement with Wrightsville Beach, then had a great conversation about our nation's water and how Red v. Blue shouldn't matter when it comes to investment.

My segment starts at 29:30.

We return to The Big Talker, 106.7 FM, tomorrow morning to sit down again with Joe Catenacci at 7:30am to talk about all things water.

It's been a busy couple of weeks here in the Cape Fear Region. We'll talk about the next steps for our client, Belville, in the wake of Monday's court decision against the H2GO transfer, cover House Bill 518 introduced by Harper Peterson to address state PFAS standards, and talk about CFPUA's deal with Wrightsville Beach to provide low-cost water after a WB well was tainted with GenX by CFPUA's ASR project.

We'll also talk about our speeches to Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania water leaders following the announcement of the EPA's so-called "PFAS Action Plan."

Don't get The Big Talker. You can listen live through their website... https://wilmingtonbigtalker.com/

Inadequate source water protection is the reason why we're in the PFAS mess we find ourselves in. While we took issue with Cape Fear River Watch during the Consent Order process, they are strong advocates with the safety of our waterways.

This isn't a red or blue issue. It impacts your drinking water, people.

The Trump administration’s proposal to strip waterways around the country of Clean Water Act protection puts our drinking water at risk. The

Joe is one of the most informed members of the media when it comes to and drinking .

People put conservatives like Joe in a box when it comes to environmental issues but that is an enormous mistake.

We’ve been on about a dozen times now and conversations have always been informative and entertaining. Today should be no different.

WaterPIO is proud to announce that we're back out on the road this month, called upon by professionals throughout the Southeast to speak about communications-related issues affecting the water industry.

This month, WaterPIO will speak about PFAS & emerging contaminant communications at two major conferences. On February 12, we will be a Featured Speaker at the Catawba-Wateree Water Management Group's "Water for All" Summit.

We will address how to answer the basic question being raised by PFAS and emerging contaminant discoveries: Is My Water Safe to Drink? We will then lead an illustrious panel of scientists, engineers, and water leaders tasked with tackling the PFAS and EC problem through a series of questions on the topic.

On February 21 and 22, WaterPIO will talk about PFAS & emerging contaminant communications again, this time at the South Carolina Rural
Water Association's Decision Makers Summit.

We're also continuing our work with the North Carolina Rural Water
Association to train their members on customer and crisis communications. This month, we will present at two NCRWA trainings in LaGrange and Burlington, North Carolina.

We worked with the StarNews to weigh in on the sweetheart deal Chemours negotiated for itself for their contamination of the Cape Fear River.

utilities and their customers will pay hundreds of millions more than the chemical giant to clean up their drinking water.

While environmentalists get significant levels of oversight to stop future pollution, Chemours gets a promise that it can’t be punished for past sins.

All for the bargain price of $13 million and improvements they already felt compelled to make.

How is that a bargain? They made $275 million in profits last quarter. $275 million in pure profit in three months.
