Nearly 50 years later, history is still being built!

When Evergreen Clearing took down the Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center, they found a steel beam stamped Queensboro Steel Inc.—originally supplied by the Alper family in 1977.

Now, Southern Metals Recycling is giving that same beam new life. A full-circle moment that shows the Alper family’s lasting impact on Wilmington.

We purchase all types of metal and resell usable steel to the public at our Resale Warehouse.
