Meet Mitchell, our Summer Business Development Intern!

Mitchell is a rising senior at Columbia University. This summer he is working with Christina River Exchange in our Business Development sector. Previously, Mitchell was a BPG University intern with Buccini Pollin Group where he learned the ins and outs of real estate development.

Q: What are you working on this summer?
A: My responsibilities cover almost every part of procurement, from sourcing potential clients to reviewing and managing project planning.

Q: What are you hoping to gain from this internship?
A: From this internship, I hope to refine and build my project financial analysis skills. At the same time, I want to be in an environment that I can learn in that provides the necessary interpersonal skills that I need to thrive in the work place.

A: How has BPG University (BPGU) shaped your college career?
Q: BPGU introduced me to the many sectors that make up BPG as a company. Learning about the different departments gave me a clear idea of what the real estate industry looked like. In college, this has made it easier for me to narrow my career choices significantly. If you have the opportunity to participate in BPGU, take it!

⛳Each year CRE hosts an Office Putt-Putt Tournament at our headquarters in Wilmington, DE!

The smell of gardenias and fresh cut greens filled the air as the 2025 Master’s framed a week of riveting golf. With the recent course renovations, players came into the tournament with heightened excitement and anticipation. Over three days, associates were encouraged to test their golf skills on the 9-hole esteemed "El Octavo Piso" golf course set up on the 8th Floor for a chance to be crowned the CRE Master's Champion!

On the final day we hosted a happy hour and crowned our 2025 winner: “Handicap Hipster” Hantman. Surrounded by dedicated fans, he finished the final round with a stunning 33 for a combined score of 96 for all 3 rounds.

This week the CRE team had a blast at the annual Boutique Design New York (BDNY) trade fair and conference in NYC!

During the event, the team attended panels about industry trends and development and connected with current and new vendors to expand CRE's network of manufacturers to best serve their clients.

Last month, the CRE team headed out to the greens and competed in the Sporting Athletic Club Golf Outing! ⛳

The event raised funds in support of the Sporting Athletic Club Scholarship, which ensures that cost does not prevent a child from having the opportunity to participate in elite soccer programs.

Congratulations to our client, The Quoin Hotel , for winning a Preservation Achievement Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia!

Christina River Exchange was honored with a Grand Jury Award for our role in restoring the former Security Trust and Safety Deposit Company Building at 519 N Market St in Wilmington, Delaware, home to a 24-room luxury boutique hotel, The Quoin. The Grand Jury Awards “celebrate the highest level of achievement in historic preservation.”
