Where W**e & Art Meet 🍁 Join the Portland Art Museum and Willamette Valley W**eries on November 11th for an immersive tasting experience featuring w**es from 50 Willamette Valley w**eries, seasonal culinary offerings, live artistic experiences, demonstrations, and interactive activations.

This isn’t a gallery opening with w**e service, and it’s not a tasting with art on the walls. It’s a genuine fusion in which both crafts illuminate each other.

VIP Admission – $135 (5:00 - 9:00 PM)
Includes one hour of exclusive early access, premium tasting opportunities, exclusive passed hors d’oeuvres, and more intimate opportunities to connect with featured artists and w**ery representatives before general admission begins.

General Admission – $105 (6:00 - 9:00 PM)
Includes event entry, w**e tastings, seasonal culinary offerings, access to artist experiences, live demonstrations, and interactive activations throughout the evening.

Alcohol-Free General Admission (No W**e Tasting) – $55 Includes event entry, access to artist experiences and interactive activations, non-alcoholic beverage offerings, and seasonal culinary selections.

Sourced from some of the Willamette Valley’s most distinctive vineyards and rooted in volcanic Jory soils, the Championship Anniversary Chardonnay and Pinot Noir showcase the complexity, and character of Oregon w**e. Both w**es are thoughtfully composed and integrated, offering distinct expressions of their respective sites. Here are the stats.

The Championship Anniversary Chardonnay comes from Hollis Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains, where volcanic Jory soils contribute to the w**e’s depth and character. Fuller-bodied and more textured than our current Chardonnay offerings, this w**e gains additional richness and weight from extended lees aging.

Bright lemon aromas lead into a palate reminiscent of your grandmother’s lemon pound cake, balancing vibrant citrus with a rich, rounded texture. Its added weight and complexity make it especially versatile at your dinner table – Channing suggests pairing this Chardonnay with a richer dish like carbonara.

The Championship Anniversary Pinot Noir is sourced primarily from Thoma Vineyard in the Dundee Hills, with a small amount of fruit from Ladd Hill. This is a quintessential expression of Oregon Pinot Noir – think cherry, baking spice, and subtle oak. Silky tannins encourage a smooth finish for this medium-bodied blend of 667 and 777 clones. If you live in Portland, Channing suggests pairing this with a pizza from Ken’s Artisan Pizza.
