This living room/office/yarn room was quite the task. Oh the yarn!! 🧶 If it was up to me, a lot more would have been donated or moved to an alternate space. This customer was very hands on and hesitant to part with many things. I left not completely satisfied but it’s not up to me. The client was happy and that is what matters most.

A common misconception with organization is that it’s a one and done. Nope! It requires maintenance. Even this professional organizer needs to start over every once in a while. Take 3 or 4 on our charging area. Before and after below. ⬇️

Pantry Maintenance….organization unfortunately is not a one and done. It requires work. These are some things to consider.

⭐️ Take everything out
⭐️ Check expiration dates and consolidate products
⭐️ Change containers if something is no longer working for the space
⭐️ Do what works for you. What works for me might not be efficient for your house.

This tip might seem like a no brainer to some but I actually never thought of it until just recently. Have a lot of papers taking up space?
I certainly did. I have been hanging on to all of my teaching papers just in case for 10 years now! I decided to scan all of my papers into a computer and save them to a flash drive. An entire bin or two emptied! And some space gained!!Win win in my book. 😊
