I am so excited to finally share these photos! This family totally nailed their photo session. Look at those smiles! As Annie would say, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile.” 😉

Honestly, I don’t give a ton of wardrobe advice when it comes to family photos because I want everyone to be comfortable and authentically themselves. I thought this family did an excellent job of coordinating colors without getting too matchy-matchy. Their colors say “autumn” without being too neutral. And everyone is comfortable with what they’re wearing, which makes it easier for them to relax in front of the camera. All the choices make my heart so happy! 🎉❤️

This year I didn’t even bother making a resolution to post more on IG. We all know I’m going to fail. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I am still here, still working, and still posting (occasionally).

I wanted to share an image from a family session I did right before the holidays. I’ve been photographing this family for over a decade! So, here’s a favorite from this year, and if you scroll through, you’ll see a couple of images from our very first session together. 🤣

One afternoon, I was working in my office when I got a text from a friend of mine. “I know this is short notice, but are you available tomorrow afternoon to photograph Big Papi?” And that’s how I found myself, about 24 hrs later, at the .vision offices, with one of the most famous Boston Red Sox players ever!

These photographs were meant to be removed from the background to be potentially used for billboards and ads and social media, etc. I’m excited to finally share some of them!

When the forecast called for a Nor’easter to start the day of Nicole and Tyler’s wedding, I started frantically checking my Weather app. I think I opened that sucker ten times a day for a week. And guess what?! The rain held off! Special thanks to for letting us make some magic on Sunday! Here are a handful of quick favorites from the day!

It’s always so much fun to photograph this family! We’ve been doing this every year for over a decade and it makes my heart so happy! We’ve ventured out to different locations over the years, but there’s just something about photographing a family at home. Plus, this home had peach trees and they sent me home with a bag full of DELICIOUS peaches! A very special thank you to this crew and to all the families I see year after year! ❤️

A couple of months ago, someone reached out to me randomly about being a tour guide for the day. They were taking a cruise and had one day in Boston and wanted to see the sights. Not just any sights, but fall New England sights. Foliage and farmhouses and water, etc. I spoke with this gentleman a couple of times and it really *did* sound like it could be fun! I even sent him some ideas for locations to visit. Then reality hit, as it often does for people neurotic about logistics. What if I get sick? What if you don’t like the locations I choose? What if it RAINS all day?! So, I panicked and said they would be better off with an established tour guide. And guess what, besties? Our tour date was today and it is dreary AF. All day I have been so grateful I listened to my gut! But I truly hope that family is having fun somewhere in the rain!

Golden Hour has been delicious lately! Senior portrait sessions are in full swing and I am loving it! It’s great when seniors combine sessions with friends - they get a built-in hype squad! Of course, who needs to bring friends when you have a twin! We made sure to grab lots of solo shots, as well as photos with Mom!

Having a newborn at home is already an adventure, but add in moving and you are definitely leveling up! This little girl was only two weeks old during her session and Mom and Dad wanted to make sure we captured some photos of her in her first home.

Take two parents, add in one big brother, one big sister, and a dog, plus some gorgeous interior design, and you have the recipe for some really sweet family photos!
