12 When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom.

Insight & Inspiration: David lived a victorious life for God, but he still wanted to achieve more. So, God assured him that the good work He had begun with David would continue with his offspring. His legacy continued with his son Solomon who was the wisest of kings and one of the richest to ever have lived. So too, is our work only set for a time, but God uses us within His larger kingdom plan to continue what has been started by others and to pass on our responsibilities to those who follow us. That is your legacy, be careful what you hope for it may just come true!

Let Us Pray: Father God, thank You for all that You have done and continue to do through me. It is a joy to be able to serve Your kingdom. As I look back on my life and reflect on my work, I thank You for those who came before me, giving me a foundation to build on. Please grant me the grace to raise others to continue in service to You beyond my years. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Think about this if you will, one might even say, things that make you go ummmmmm!

Can't we equate the life long politicians and the regulatory bureaucracies to one who beats his wife? Now before you all go postal on me here, just please hear me out and you will understand the comparison.

Haven't they continually battered down the potential progress of our society? Subsequently suppressing the standard of living of the society as a whole. They of course did all of this in the name of love for us as fellow human beings and the need for their compassionate programs for the public good.

When do we as a society realize that it isn't enough to give a man a fish, but instead we must teach him to fish so he becomes what? Self sufficient.

Sometimes I just think the most random things.

In honor of Veterans Day my cousin and business partner Donna had posted a picture of her dad (my uncle Pat.

Carl Welliver My Uncle Pat was an incredible man... I am proud today, and every day that you (Donna Mansfield ) and I are business partners as we prepare to pull off with our esteemed colleague John Kukucz through Grenelefe Equity Partners, LLC one of the most incredible acquisitions in history. But all of that being said let me go back to my uncle Pat for just a moment. He had a free spirit (an entrepreneurial spirit) that inspired me at a very young age. To this day I have never shared this story with anyone, but now wish I had had the opportunity to share it with him before he passed away, but I was too young to realize the exact impact that summer had had on me. I remember vacationing in Los Alamitos one summer, and my cousin Patrice and I working in my uncles Day Old Bakery store. It was at that time that I decided I wanted to be just like my uncle, in control of my future. Of course working in the store was just something for us to do during the day during our vacation, but it really was much more for me. I know Pat that you are looking down on Donna and I and blessing our success. Thank you for simply be the man that you were.
