Today, on Memorial Day, FireLine honors a group of heroes: the firefighters who traded their turnout gear for military uniforms and laid down their lives in service to our country.

The bond between the fire service and the military runs incredibly deep.
Firefighters have cross-trained to serve as military medics, first responders, and infantrymen, carrying the values of the firehouse into global conflict zones.

Our offices are closed today as we take this time to reflect on the true meaning of this day. We remember all members of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice—including our brothers and sisters from the fire service who never made it back to their home station.

We will never forget their sacrifice. Have a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
