A.J. Letizio Merchandising Specialist, Laura Williams, was on hand today for the Grand Re-Opening of Shaw’s in Windham, NH, right up the road from our Corporate Headquarters!

Laura enjoyed greeting customers and serving up samples of Mi Niña Tortilla Chips. It was great to see so many people stop by to say hello, and the chips were definitely a hit!

Congratulations to the Shaw’s Windham team on their Grand Re-Opening. We’re always happy to be out in the stores supporting our customers and brands, especially right here in our hometown!

The Letizios aren't just in the food industry, the food industry has been part of their family for more than 100 years. For generations, food has been at the center of their work, their family and the traditions they continue to share today.

Early last month, four generations of the Letizio family came together to make their homemade Soppressata, with the youngest generation learning a tradition that has been passed down through the family for generations.

Shortly after that, Al Letizio Jr. and his sons, Adam and Nick, came together again, this time to make another family favorite, homemade Capicola, or “Coppa.”

Making Coppa is a long and precise process. It may be a lot of work, but the Letizios certainly have fun doing it! There were stories told, jokes made, family history shared, plenty of laughter, and even a little singing!

Now both the Soppressata and Capicola are dry aging, and perhaps the hardest part begins…waiting!

We're welcoming October with this delicious pasta dish featured in our 2026 A.J. Letizio Sales & Marketing Calendar!

Is there anything better than a great plate of pasta? With countless varieties, sauces, ingredients and recipes, pasta can be dressed up for a night out at your favorite restaurant or kept simple for a comforting meal at home with family and friends.

As the days get shorter and the weather gets a little cooler, pasta just seems to hit the spot. Whether you're coming home after a busy day at work, feeding the family after an afternoon of kids' sports, or heading out to enjoy dinner with friends, there's something about a warm pasta dish that brings everyone to the table.

And that's one of the things we love most about food, it doesn't just satisfy an appetite. It brings people together.

We are proud to share that Al Letizio Jr., CEO and President of A.J. Letizio Sales & Marketing, was honored as this year’s recipient of the New England Food Foundation’s (NEFF) Helping Hands Award, presented at its Annual Charity Golf Event.

The Helping Hands Award recognizes individuals and organizations that have made a major impact on NEFF by going above and beyond through their support, time, and dedication.

This recognition was especially meaningful to Al because of the important work NEFF does to support children in need. Proceeds from this annual event help fund the operation of the New England Food Foundation Cape House for an entire year, providing children and their families with a very special place to spend time together.

The presentation also carried a special family connection. Al’s son, Nick Letizio, a past President of NEFF, had the honor of presenting the Helping Hands Award to last year’s recipient. One year later, an associate of that recipient presented the award to Al, making an already meaningful recognition even more special for the Letizio family.

All of us at A.J. Letizio Sales & Marketing are incredibly proud of Al and the Letizio family for their continued commitment to giving back, supporting their community, and helping organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Congratulations, Al, on this well-deserved recognition!

25 Years...We Remember.

Today, we pause to honor the memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the families and loved ones who carry their memories with them every day.

We remember the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger that day to help others. And we extend our deepest gratitude to all first responders who continue to put their lives on the line each and every day in service to their communities.

May we never forget those we lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

A.J. Letizio was on the road Monday with our Mobile Culinary Kitchen Merchandising Magic, serving up lunch to hundreds of Market Basket team members at their Headquarters’ location in Tewksbury, Massachusetts!

The weather was perfect, the lines didn’t stop, and the food was a hit!

With product support from Stuffed Food, Hans Kissle, Old Neighborhood, Country Home, Giffords Ice Cream, Mi Nina Tortilla Chips , Cargill Foods, North Country Smokehouse, Buitoni Pasta, Belgioioso, Lighthouse Dressings, Brioche Gourmet, and Port City Pretzel our AJL Team brought great food to the table giving people an opportunity to enjoy it together.

There’s something special about seeing people gather over a great meal, and our A.J. Letizio team was especially happy to be part of such a fun and memorable day.

Thank you to the Market Basket team for having us, we had a great time serving you!

A Piece of New Hampshire History Resurfaces

Yesterday morning, another chapter of a remarkable local story came out of the waters of Canobie Lake.

Following the devastating Great Hurricane of 1938, almost 2 million board feet of fallen New England timber needed to be salvaged. To protect the value of the lumber, the federal government created the Northeastern Timber Salvage Administration, which established underwater storage sites throughout New England. Canobie Lake was Site No. 28, where salvaged logs were marked “U.S.” and intentionally submerged for future use. World War II intervened, the program ended, and much of that timber remained beneath the lake for decades.

Yesterday, Al Letizio Jr., with the assistance of his good friend, Bill Marquis owner of Marquis Contracting Group, returned to the lake to carefully recover more of this historic timber.

This effort continues a project that began in 2018, when the first logs were recovered from Canobie Lake, some still bearing the original “US” stamps on their ends. The recovered wood was eventually milled, seasoned and handcrafted into beautiful wooden American flags, giving this piece of New Hampshire history a new life.

One of these special flags was presented to New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte, carrying a story that began with a hurricane nearly 88 years ago and continues today.

History recovered. History preserved. And a uniquely New Hampshire story that continues to be told.
