So instead let’s focus on what inspires me. My inspirations come from my everyday life. They include natural wide open light, fresh flowers in a mason jar on the kitchen table, the ever changing color scape of New England, fabrics (from linen to burlap) & paper of all kinds. I will confess I still write good old fashion letters in our age of email & texting & that I have a love affair with books &

35mm film. It struck me many years ago, how important it is to have photographic records of the little moments we all have in life that make up our larger existence. That the ordinary is beautiful & it is the time we share with our friends & family that truly nourish us, mind, body and soul. I studied at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles, CA. My education there is what gives me the foundation for strong compositions & painterly images... That foundation is what has built the critical technical skills to turn the fleeting moments into lasting photographic images. I can honestly say, whether it be being a participant in your wedding day or capturing those transitory moments of your young child's life for you, it is both an honor and a distinct privilege to have the opportunity to be your photographer.
