🕒 There's still time! If you are looking for a drop-off homeschool enrichment option, I have a handful of spots available on Tuesdays or a couple of spots available on Thursdays (or room for someone wanting to do both days) for GRADES 1st-6th. ☔Next Tuesday, we'll be kicking off with personalized learning and passion projects in the mornings and "Through the Eyes of a Metereologist/Storm Chaser" from Campfire Curriculum in the afternoon. We'll be doing science, a public speaking unit, history, and PE this first semester. Students will get to vote and choose what we are doing next semester (some options include Through the Eyes of a Veterinarian, Through the Eyes of a Zoologist, and more).

🌎 On Thursdays, we'll be doing personalized learning and passion projects in the morning and exploring India, Ireland, Guatemala, and Nigeria for geography in the afternoon. We'll also be doing fun writing projects (and poetry tea time!) from Brave Writer, and art/handicraft projects using the Global Art and Messy Art books by MaryAnn Kohl.

🎨I didn't have quite enough older students interested to begin my original Wednesday program idea, but I've had a few people reach out with interest for younger students. So, I'm going to try a short drop-off program for AGES 4-7 from 9-11:30 on Wednesday mornings. This 12 week program would be a time for small group tutoring including phonics, reading and math review. In addition, we will also do messy things--like science experiments, paint and art projects--and group things like P.E. and music. Our first day for this class would be September 18. If you aren't quite ready to commit to the full year, I do have trial options...or a semester option. I'll also be taking enrollments through the year unless all spots fill up. Meet at the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce starting with a health talk by Dr. Bryan Davis and Gentiva Hospice about working together to enhance end-of-life care. After the health talk, we’ll go for a stroll and enjoy a healthy snack midway at Converge Space LLC - Coworking & Community.
No pre-registration is necessary. Simply show up and sign a waiver your first time. After that, just check in before each walk. Plus, you earn incentives for participating:

In addition to open coworking hours, meeting rooms, and event space, we are now offering a variety of educational services for students ages K-12. Education is evolving and family needs are changing, and Converge Space is excited to offer programming to fit your needs!

Aimed at homeschool families (or those interested in homeschooling), this one or two day per week enrichment program seeks to blend the strengths of classroom education with the flexibility and freedom of homeschooling.
