City of Winfield Fire Department is proud to announce that it has secured initial

Today was a hard day. Eight families lost their homes, while we train for the worst, it's never easy when it doesn't go the way we train for it too.

Sometimes in our profession it's easy to let competition get in the way of life but today served as a reminder that when the call comes in, that all disappears. We are always proud to serve alongside our brothers in Hamilton. No matter the badge or department, we are one fire service, and we will always have each other's backs.

Prayers for the displaced families and for the quick recovery for the individual transported for medical care.
