The next few days promise more of the same, with near to below normal temperatures. As a cold front drops into the area Wednesday evening and overnight, showers and thunderstorms will provide a bit of badly needed rainfall.

While cloud cover and rain chances have and will keep temperatures on the cool side to start the week, a cold front moving through on Wednesday will push temperatures even cooler to round out the week. And at that point, with sunshine instead of cloud cover. Expect temperatures as much as 10 to 15 degrees below normal at times, including Morning lows Thursday and into the weekend that may dip down into the 40s.

Showers and thunderstorms will come in rounds this weekend, but some afternoon breaks may keep it from being a total wash out.

A Flood Watch will go into effect at 7 PM tonight and remain in effect until 7 PM Monday, with favorable conditions for flash flooding expected throughout the weekend. Expect rainfall amounts of 2-5 inches, with localized heavier amounts up to 8 inches possible.
