Update for Pest Control Industry in Nevada

With all the updates and possible shut downs from COVID-19, what has NVPMA been working on to help you and your business;

Great news! NVPMA Lobbyist, Warren Hardy, has been working with the governor's office and they have approved that WE ARE CONSIDERED AN ESSENTIAL BUSINESS and can operate as usual with exception to ensuring you are following CDC social gathering and hygiene protocols! The governor's office is expediting documentation for you to utilize for your business and or customer needs. The expectation is to see documentation today and we will update you accordingly.

The pest control industry has always been a public health industry and that does not change now. The National Pest Management Association has crafted a letter, this is a quote “NPMA firmly believes that structural pest control is an essential industry that must continue to provide the valuable services we offer during this pandemic”.

We will keep our members up to date as information becomes available. Please practice good hygiene and reduce interior services if possible, until the outbreak has been contained. Please inform your team members of this message so they can share with the public and their customers.

Thank you

Corona virus

Mantis Pest Control has been in contact with the Nevada Department of Agriculture and the Nevada Pest Management Association. It has been recommended that any pest control applications be limited to exterior applications. Mantis Pest Control understands the severity of the current Covid 19 and is implementing the following practices to keep our valued customers and employees safe.

Mantis will spray the exterior of all buildings. If you would like the interior sprayed, we are requesting that all occupants leave the premises while we service the building. Our employees will now be wearing personal protective equipment which will include masks and gloves. We will continue to monitor and implement any new recommendations as we are notified.

Our prime object is to minimize the spread of the corona virus and to keep everybody as safe as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you

We have been working with our lobbyists and state officials to ensure that we stay open as an “essential business”. We have been following other cities and states that have listed the pest control industry as an essential business. The pest control industry has always been a public health industry and that does not change now. The National Pest Management Association has crafted a letter, this is a quote “NPMA firmly believes that structural pest control is an essential industry that must continue to provide the valuable services we offer during this pandemic”.
