The Susanville Air Fair was a blast. Friday night there was a band and some delicious Margaritas. Saturday was the big day with lots of aircraft that flew in, pancake breakfast, helicopter rides, old car show, craft fair, RC Planes and RC trucks, and a flight simulator for the kids to try out. My favorite was the Grumman Widgeon twin engine Seaplane.

Chelsea Borowski passed her private pilot checkride on June 12. Chelsea was a great student to work with and was always prepared for her lessons and it showed in her checkride. She smoked through the oral portion in 45 minutes and aced her checkride. Thanks to her good friend and CFII Mark for helping with some of her training. Chelsea plans on becoming a CFI soon, and she’ll be great at it! Congratulations Chelsea, we hope to see you soon for your Commercial Pilot training!

Two of the newest Pilots in the world! Congratulations Robert Owen and Chris Dendary on getting your Pilots License today! These two men braved gusty winds and unfavorable conditions and passed their checkrides today. I’m so proud of these guys and can’t wait to do some fun flying with them!
