Could remote-worker migration affect the election? Many people are moving to more affordable cities/states because they can work from "anywhere." Have they registered to vote in their new community? Could this create a political shift in some areas? Thoughts?

Meaning Behind the Logo Part 2:

Balancing Rocks or Stacked Rocks

For people on a journey, stacked rocks are used to guide them by showing direction along the way. When you see the stacked rocks, you know you are on the correct path. SueMo Consulting (SMC) serves as a guide for the path that you have chosen.

Balance (again)
There are many aspects to your business and balance is key. SMC serves as a simple reminder to keep balance in priorities: Family, Friends/Community, Rest, Work, Pay-it-forward

The act of balancing stones carries with it a practice of patience and the physical effort of creating balance. Each rock can signify an intention of grace for thankfulness, or offered up for another in need (Community and Pay-it-forward). Connecting nature in this externalized expression is uplifting and a very powerful tool for expanding the spirit and guiding what you do. (Work) A stack of rocks is called a cairn. Cairns have apparently been used to mark trails for thousands of years and are still in use today. Some religious traditions use them as parts of rituals or to mark spots for a person to stop and meditate (Rest).

Buddhist Monks use Stacking Stones as a gesture of asking or wishing for good fortune to be bestowed on the stacker and his/her family. Each stone within the stack represents a particular wish and possibly, family member. (Family)

When I created the "SueMo" logo, I wanted to make sure that it represented me, my mission and my brand. It has a lot of different meanings, so I will start with the the obvious: It is an abstract of a Sumo wrestler. There are two ways to win a Sumo match: push your opponent out of the circle or have them touch the ground with any body part other than the soles of the feet.

How does this relate to a consulting company?

Circles and Balance:

Circles:
In any community (personal or business) it is important to find your circle, a place of comfort and familiarity; but there is a whole world beyond your circle. We will help you build new relationships, connections and experiences by giving you "a little push." Focus beyond the circle.

Balance:
A healthy community needs balance: Equality and Equity. If we don't have both, we don't have balance. We take the time to listen and learn the backgrounds and experiences of each individual and business so we can meet them where they are and build where they want to be. We understand that some people need to get on their feet before they can stay on their feet. Building individual relationships is the first step toward balance.

It has been an exciting two weeks at SueMo Consulting! I have been overwhelmed by the love and support. As I build my company and services, I will share a little about myself, my experience, and my mission to work with individuals, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, startups, and small, scalable businesses.

My focus is building a true community, overlapping circles, and supporting and lifting up the people who live, work, and learn here.
