Brad Haga is co-owner of D and H Logging based in Coos Bay. His firm earned Operator of the Year for SW Oregon and will be recognized later this week by the Oregon Board of Forestry. Haga had to train his workers to meet extensive new forest protection rules while also logging a unit in steep terrain near fish-bearing streams. Recovering from forest fires in Oregon

Earlier this year, a log truck full of fire-salvaged timber wound its way down the mainline road at our Clackamas, Oregon, tree farm. It was one of about 100 vehicles that carried 215 loads of wood out of Clackamas that day — possibly setting a haul record for the tree farm.
