The Freed family was in the Applegate area last weekend for a wedding, and we decided to spend some time w**e tasting to broaden our palates.

By far, the best w**es we tasted were at **ery. Their big, bold, Bordeaux reds were exceptional.

A big thank you to Marcos and Heidi for their dedication to their craft. Their small acreage, hillside vineyard is herbicide-free and hand-tended by the owners. The w**es are made by the owners, and were poured by the owners.

Humble and unpretentious, this is a place producing platinum-caliber w**es in an authentic,working-w**ery setting. These are the kinds of views I enjoy most when I go w**e tasting.
