There’s no better way to build a stronger support system for families than bringing the people doing this work into the same room. 💜

Thank you to our incredible speakers for showing up, sharing your expertise, and being willing to have the real conversations about infant feeding, access, referrals, and what families actually need.

Your voices helped make this more than a conversation. You helped us think about what it looks like to build a community where families don’t have to navigate support alone.

We’re grateful for your time, your honesty, and the work you continue to do every day.

Here’s to staying connected, continuing the conversation, and building better pathways together. 💜

We had a lot to talk about. And a few things really stuck with us. 💜

👶Our Infant Feeding Support Roundtable reminded us that lactation care is interdisciplinary, and support shouldn’t wait until a family is already struggling.
🩺We talked about the importance of knowing when to refer, understanding what other providers offer, and building those relationships before a referral is needed.
💰We also talked about access, and how coverage, cost, geography, and provider availability can shape whether a family can actually get the care that exists.
🤝 No one provider can do everything. Families need a network of people who know how to work together and help them find their next step.

These conversations matter because a stronger network means families have a better chance of experiencing care as a connected system, instead of having to figure it all out alone.

That’s the kind of network we’re working to build through CFBN.

Swipe through for 6 takeaways from the conversation.

Tomorrow night, we’re bringing Central Florida providers and community care professionals together for the Central Florida Infant Feeding Support Roundtable.

This is a conversation about what families are actually experiencing, where they’re getting stuck, and what we can do differently. We’re not looking for another list of resources. We’re looking at how we connect the resources, relationships, and expertise we already have so families can actually access the support they need.

If you work with families, your perspective belongs at the table.

We’re still collecting breastfeeding and infant feeding stories from parents, providers, and community members.

Your experience doesn’t have to be perfect, polished, or even positive. The hard parts matter, too. The moments that challenged you, surprised you, changed your perspective, or made you realize what support was missing can help someone else feel less alone.

We’re sharing these stories because real experiences help others better understand and prepare for their breastfeeding journeys.

If you’ve been meaning to share yours, this is your sign. Submit your story through the link in our bio.
