Fabulous paid internship opportunity!

Know a student who's ready to build their marketing and communications resume? The Alzheimer's Association is offering a paid internship supporting our Florida team.

Interns will pitch stories to local news outlets, write for social media and digital platforms and design graphics in Canva, all while supporting Walk to End Alzheimer's events and awareness efforts across the state. It's a flexible, 10-hour-a-week opportunity, open to juniors, seniors and recent graduates.

The minimum required test scores to qualify for the Florida Bright Futures scholarships changed a bit for the class of 2028. That’s because the scores corresponding to the qualifying percentiles changed.

The class of 2027 inspires me. Their writing makes me think and their interests are truly awesome. Several of them list creativity, friendships, and perseverance as their top values. I put lots of effort into extracting all their "good stuff"; however, I expect more from them: doing their own work, making choices with confidence, and asking questions. This is a busy college application season, but wow, it is fun!
