The kindness and care shown by students in our communities never goes unnoticed. ❤️

Last month, students in the Hayward High School Advanced Health Class donate handmade fleece blankets to patients receiving chemotherapy and pediatric surgical patients at Tamarack Health Hayward Medical Center Hayward Medical Center.

The fleece is purchased through donations made to the Infusion Department along with support from Advanced Health teacher Mrs. VonArb, helping bring warmth and comfort to patients during difficult times.

What a meaningful way to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. Thank you to these students, staff, and everyone involved in continuing such a thoughtful tradition.

🇺🇸 Volunteers Needed for July Jubilee! 🇺🇸

One of Winter’s biggest summer traditions is right around the corner, and a few helping hands are needed to help get the park ready for July Jubilee.

Projects include:
🌳 Tree trimming
🧹 General park cleanup
🌱 W**d whacking
🚜 Repairing and leveling areas where new electrical lines were recently buried

Whether you’re a local business, organization, or individual willing to donate some time, equipment, or labor, every contribution helps make this community event possible.

The goal is to complete these projects this week! The week of June 8th!

A short business meeting will follow the meal and it will include Installation of Officers for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 Lion Year. This is your chance to meet the officers and learn about the Lions Organization, learn about our fund-raising events and how we help our community. 🇺🇸 July Jubilee Volunteer Call! 🇺🇸

We’re looking for a few helping hands to get the park ready for this year’s July Jubilee!

We have several larger projects that need attention, including:
🌳 Trimming trees
🧹 General park clean-up
🌱 W**d whacking around the grounds
🚜 Repairing and leveling areas where new electrical lines were recently buried

We’re hoping that a local business, organization, or a few generous individuals might be willing to donate some time, equipment, or labor to help tackle these projects. Every hour donated helps make the July Jubilee a success for our community.
